Midnight (6/1/18) was just a two-year-old pup when we named him Christian upon arrival at Pet Search in 2020 with his “brother” after our volunteer humane police officer investigated a neglect case. Midnight has returned to Pet Search because, after four years, his brother Dior, also part of the humane case, has been attacking him. Midnight is the sweetest boy with no aggression, a lover who wants to be your lap dog and shadow. He’s happiest being close to his owner and can be a bed hog, stealing covers if allowed. Midnight is current on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and was foster with cats, being slowly introduced. He’s protective of chews and food, so he’s fed separately, but great with children. Midnight enjoys zoomies in the yard, walks (though pulls on the leash when excited), car rides, and is crate-trained, housebroken, and doesn’t bark. He’s looking for a family to give him another chance after his adoptive family surrendered him back to Pet Search for his safety. Please give this boy the chance he deserves. Scooby (1/29/2026) was a stray pup running the streets of Washington until he was picked up and taken to a vet office to be scanned for a microchip. None was found and after a few days of waiting for an owner that never came forward, Scooby was turned over to Pet Search.
Scooby is a black mouth cur/Rhodesian ridgeback mix who is full of energy and love!
This pup will be a large breed boy when he grows up and will need lots of exercise and training. Scooby wants so much to please and is working on his manners and his housebreaking. Scooby has learned several commands and skills since coming to Pet Search and has proven to be a quick learner who very much wants to please.
Scooby is vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, microchipped and is scheduled for neutering and 4DX testing. He loves other dogs and is non reactive to cats. Scooby would be the perfect addition to a family with kids that will help him burn off his energy. King (9/17/2023) is a handsome 30 pound lab mix who is sweet, playful and ready for his forever home. He recently arrived from St Thomas USVI and this is what the shelter has to say about this dynamic “coconut retriever”…
“King was an Owner Surrender 3/18 – didn’t have time for the dog
King is Small, fluffy and beautiful, King would make a great personal or family pet. He was resource (food) guarding when he first arrived but that has gone away now that he is getting regular meals and everyone is treating him well. He might act tough with another dog from a distance but when interacting he is the opposite; other dogs bite him in play and he does not give it back, just rolls and runs and has fun! His fur is soft and he is people friendly; enjoys company but without being overly needy of affection..”
King is Lyme and heartworm negative,neutered and fully vaccinated. He is housebroken and crate trained. He is being fed in his crate at this time until he gets comfortable in his foster home with other animals. We are working on his leash manners.

Nyla (1/30/25) is a lovely female brindle plotthound mix who gains from the beautiful island of St Thomas USVI. Nyla had a home on St Thomas, but when her owner left island, she was left with a friend. She was taken to the shelter when the friend also chose to leave the island which means that Nyah lust her home not that one, but twice💔.
This beautiful girl is 54 pounds if pure love and affection ❤️ She is housebroken, crate trained, and just wants to be by outdoors side. Nyla is Lyme and heartworm negative, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is good with both dogs and cats. She walks well on a
leash . She is a happy gurl who enjoys strolling through the yard smelling the flowers, chasing butterflies and rolling in fresh cut grass.
Nyla wound fut into any home, especially one with kids.

Meet Stevie 💕🐾

Stevie (11/3/23) is a sweet, goofy, high-energy girl who absolutely loves everyone she meets. She’s wonderful with cats, full of kisses, and happiest when she’s curled up soaking up all the love she can get.

Stevie was born a hermaphrodite, meaning she had both male and female reproductive anatomy. Her surgery was a total success and she is ready to find her forever home.

Stevie can be dog selective and would do best in a home with a submissive dog. As her hormones level out we feel her temperament towards all dogs will improve.

Prior to coming to Pet Search, Stevie was in foster home and loved, long walks, car rides and curling up with her foster mom.

Beth (9/1/21) is a gorgeous blue American Staffordshire Terrier mix who was able to have her second chance by coming to Pet Search. Beth hails from the sunny island of St Thomas and was one of three dogs that arrived in May 2026 because they required lifesaving surgery that was not available to them on the island.
Beth required double ectropian surgery to save her eyesight and had a growth which was questionable if it was cancer. In an overcrowded shelter, these surgeries were not an option.
This is Beth 6 weeks after surgery… her eyes are beautiful and perfect and the growth was benign!
Beth is dog and cat friendly and loves everyone she meets! She can be quite the “social butterfly” when in groups of people and other dogs❤️
Beth is spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped. She is heartworm positive and has started her treatment which is fully covered by Pet Search.
This is one very special girl that will steal your heart with her welcoming kisses and her beautiful “new “ eyes that look right into your soul.
