JoJo and Charm are affectionately known as the "Hippo Sisters… they are 4 year old lab terrier mixes with a sweet disposition. They were owner surrenders to the shelter in St Thomas in May 2023. JoJo is 64 pounds and Charm is 67 pounds. They are bonded.,
JoJo and Charm are back and enjoys strolling around d the yard, but occasionally get the zoomies. JoJo is the alpha and Charm is passive. They are fed separately as Jo will eat her food quickly and then run to Charm’s bowl and push her out if the way. They are both spayed , fully vaccinated, microchipped and are heartworm negative. We recommend older children over 6 years because of her size/weight. They are wonderful With other dogs but too focused on cats, so a cat free home is recommended. They are housebroken and crate trained.

Charm is looking for a foster family or foster to adopt situation. Charm recently arrived from St Thomas with her sister JoJo.
Charm is a 4 year old lab terrier with a sweet disposition. She and her sister JoJo were owner surrenders to the shelter in May 2023. Charm is 67 pounds and unfortunately, we needed to separate them because we did not have a foster home that could take both of them.
Charm is laid back and enjoys strolling around d the yard. Charm is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and is heartworm negative. We recommend older children over 6 years because of her size/weight. She is wonderful

Diamond (5/18/22) was flown to Pet Search from St Thomas on the February 2024 transport. This little girl was living in the cat house at the shelter and was so afraid of everything. We chose her to fly to Pet Search to give her a chance to find a forever home.
It took a little while for her to come out of her shell and enjoy being petted, but she now enjoys getting love. She can still be a little frightened of fast movements but has gone such a long way in a years time.
Diamond is felv/fuv negative, vaccinated and spayed. She has been living with both with dogs and cats.

Neika is a 2 year-old sweetheart who was surrendered to Pet Search. She weighs approximately 50 pounds. She is house broken, and can ring a bell when she wants to go outside. She is very energetic, loves to play and snuggle and walks well on a leash with a gentle lead collar. After being adopted, she came back to us–she became the alpha/protector at her new home, which resulted in being aggressive with smaller dogs. She needs an alpha owner willing to work with her on impulse and leash control. (Pet Search can recommend a trainer who has been working with her.) We recommend a fenced yard, lots of play time, and a home with no young children because of her energy level. Neika is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. He was trapped as an older kitten while doing TNR, with the patient work of his foster parents, Spruce is now a fun loving playful cat who would like nothing more than a family of his very own.
