Zeus

Zeus (birthdate 9/15/22) was picked up as a stray by Animal Control in Burgettstown early July… this sweet, gentle Rottweiler was extremely thin, weighing only 55 pounds. When his stray hold was over, he was released to Pet Search.
After 7 weeks of good food, lots of love and zoomies in the yard, Zeus is now a very healthy 100 pounds. It was thought that Zeus has a sarcoma on his joints; however, they are non existent now! The “calloused” areas have all but disappeared as he is able to run and play. We believe that Zeus was most likely crated for long periods of time in a crate too small for him which caused these “sarcoma-like” lesions.
Zeus loves attention and is happiest when getting lots of love and kisses from his foster mom. He is now neutered, 4dx tested, vaccinated and microchipped. He needs work on leash walking and we are slowly introducing him to other dogs.
Zeus would be an incredible dog for a family that has a strong understanding of the stubborn Rottweiler mentality and is willing to continue to work with him on his leash walking.

Meet Maria — a beautiful classic tabby with an adventurous spirit and a story as special as she is! Born on February 7, 2026, Maria began life at a resort in St. Thomas with her feral mother. In her first few months, she slowly won over the hearts of the pool bar staff and visiting guests, becoming a familiar and beloved little companion around the resort.
Thanks to caring visitors, Maria was safely trapped, spayed, vaccinated, and given the chance at a brighter future. She made her big trip to Pittsburgh on July 22, 2026, and is now settling into life in a home with other furry siblings. Maria loves zooming through the house, playing with her feline friends, and turning everyday moments into little adventures.
Maria would be a wonderful match for a home that appreciates an independent, confident cat with plenty of personality. She does well with other cats and doesn’t mind small or medium-sized dogs. She is becoming more comfortable in an active home with other fur kids, making her a great fit for a lively family environment.

At just 15 weeks old, Desiree is a true little survivor with a big heart and a resilient spirit!

Desiree came to us with what looked like a tough eye infection. Despite our best efforts and aggressive medical care, her eye wasn’t healing. Our vet team decided surgery was the healthiest choice—and it’s a good thing they did! It turned out to be a genetic defect involving her third eyelid. Now that her procedure is behind her, Desiree is feeling so much better, completely pain-free, and hasn’t let missing an eye slow her down for even a second.

This gorgeous, sweet girl is packed with playful kitten energy! She absolutely adores playing with her siblings and running around. Since she thrives on feline companionship, she would love to go to a home with another kitty friend to wrestle, chase, and cuddle with.
