Sophia came all the way from Puerto Rico to find her furever home. She is a 1-year-old (11/1/24) smaller Coconut Retriever (around 30 pounds) that is UTD on all vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. She is a bundle of energy. She enjoys going outside but needs to be slowly introduced to people and other dogs. She is in the process of learning manners, leash skills and housebreaking. She came to Pet Search as a shy dog who had been living in a wooden crate in a construction zone in Puerto Rico. but has learned that she enjoys being a companion to her family and her furry siblings. She is perfectly content to curl up either beside you or on your lap to watch a movie with you. Her tail never stops wagging. She would do best in a home with children older than 5. She get along with cats and dogs as she currently lives with them. she would prefer a fenced in yard or someone who would like to take her on walks to burn off her energy.
