On June 6th, 2020, we rescued Matilda and her sister Meg ….their owner checked out of the Surburban Extended Stay Motel in Washington and the staff found them in the room when cleaning. Our volunteer HPO brought the cats to Pet Search. The hotel had incorrect information on the owner so no charges were able to be filed. Neither were microchipped. We had them tested, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. We gave the girls birthdates of 6/16/19.
Matilda is a typical calico with the purr-sonality to match! She can be aloof but affectionate on her terms; she is good with both dogs and other cats. She has gorgeous yellow/green eyes!

These girls did not deserve to be abandoned in a hotel room… we rescued them because
“Their Lives Matter”.
