Elsa’s journey has had a few bumps along the way. Originally coming into rescue in March, she was adopted out but recently returned through no fault of her own—she was simply overwhelmed and withdrew, spending her time sleeping in her crate and keeping to herself. Back in foster care, Elsa is proving that with patience, understanding, and the right environment, her true colors shine.
While she can be shy with humans at first, she is slowly warming up to her foster mom and showing her soft, affectionate side. But where Elsa really comes alive is around other dogs! She absolutely adores her foster brothers, and her absolute favorite thing in the world is romping around the yard with them. Seeing her play with canine companions brings out a joyful, confident side of her that is truly magical to watch.
Because other dogs are the key to her confidence and happiness, a resident dog brother or sister is a must for Elsa’s forever home.
