Clementine (7/10/24) has recently arrived on a transport with two other dogs from the sunny island of St Thomas USVI. Clementine was one of many owned dogs belonging to an older woman who felt she could not provide the proper care. Three of her dogs came to us in the spring (Lucas, Cherry and Shiloh).
Clementine is a beautiful medium size little lady, weighing around 40 pounds.Stevie’s a border collie mix with one brown eye and one blue eye.
She is vaccinated, spayed, 4DX tested and microchipped. She was one of 12 dogs living in the home so she was very comfortable playing with the other dogs, but slow introductions to new dogs is always recommended. She is excellent with children, but likes to jump and nip (a herding instinct with her breed) and we are working on corrections. She is a little hesitant with men, living on the island with an older woman. She seems non reactive to cats. Zoomies in the yard is one of her favorite pastimes!
Clementine will be an excellent family pet given a little time to adjust to a new environment.
