Future Home of Pet Search’s Gateway Kennel
An increase in owner surrenders and a recent parvo outbreak reminded us just how urgently we need to create an intake kennel in Washington, PA. While we’ve always prioritized foster homes, we must now build an on-site kennel to protect vulnerable animals, provide behavioral assessments, and house single-pet household dogs all while better preparing them for loving homes across the Southwestern PA area. To accomplish this, we’re launching a fundraising campaign to raise $100,000 by the end of 2026 so the new kennel can be completed in time for our 40th anniversary milestone and we want to celebrate with even greater capacity to save lives.
Over the decades, Pet Search has placed more than 10,000 animals into safe, loving homes-and it’s all been possible because of people like you. If you’ve ever said, “I wish I could do more”-this is your moment!
