Items for Donation The following items are always in demand from foster homes who are caring for pets. New and/or gently worn items are appreciated and used, not only by the pet in the foster home, but may also go with the pet when it is adopted. Please consider the following: DOGS: food (dry and canned), treats such as milk bones, rawhide or any kind of chewable treats for teething puppies, bowls, collars, leashes, toys, bedding, dog crates, pet taxis, dog sweaters, brushes and combs, tie-outs, portable kennels; housebreaking pads. CATS: food (dry and canned), treats such as pounce, toys, bowls, collars (breakway or elastic), beds, tents, brushes, pet taxis, litter boxes, litter, scratching posts; cat laxative. GENERAL MERCHANDISE: towels and blankets for baths and bedding in crates, cleaning supplies such as odor and stain removers; child gates for doorways; rugs. OFFICE SUPPLIES: Stamps, computer paper, envelopes, file folders, 3-ring binders, and 3-1/2" diskettes. SPECIALITY: heating pads for sick pets; welping box for mothers and newborns; nursing formula (puppy and kitten), nursing bottles; vitimans; traps for feral cat trapping. Please remember that Pet Search is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, making your donations tax-deductable.
