No one ever called to claim him….
Reuben was found as a stray two weeks ago in the Taylorstown area of Washington County. Social media posts, ads in newspapers, calls to animal control and state dog warden brought no owner forward. He was wearing and old plastic collar with no identification and was not microchipped.
Reuben is a 4 year old Black and Tan Coonhound. He is housebroken, crate trained, knows commands, gets his own leash when he wants to go for walks. He loves people and attention. Reuben would be a wonderful family pet. Because of his breed, he has a higher prey drive and has shown that he would not be a good pet with a family that has cats. Reuben has been fully vaccinated, microchipped and is scheduled to be neutered. Applications are available at petsearchpa.org
